Privacy Policy

Rocket Fuel Reviews ("we," "us") provides review management, website, and local SEO services to Canadian businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Information we collect

• From visitors to this site: information you submit in our forms: business name, your name, email, phone, city, and details about your business. Basic analytics data (pages visited, device type) if analytics are enabled.
• From our clients: account and billing details, and the business information needed to deliver our services (Google Business Profile access, website content, integrations with your CRM or job-management software).
• From our clients' customers, on our clients' behalf: to send review invitations, our clients provide us with their customers' names and phone numbers. We process this information only as a service provider to that business, only to send review invitations and follow-ups on that business's behalf.

How we use it

• To deliver the services: sending review invitations, responding to reviews, managing Google Business Profiles, building and hosting websites, and reporting results.
• To respond to your inquiries and deliver requested items (like a free ranking audit).
• To bill for services and maintain our client relationship.
• We do not sell personal information. Ever.

Text messages and CASL

Review invitations are sent by SMS on behalf of the business you did business with, based on the existing business relationship between you and that business. Every message identifies the business it's sent for. If you receive a review invitation and don't want further messages, reply STOP and you will be unsubscribed, or contact us at info@rocketfuelreviews.com and we'll remove you directly.

Storage and third parties

We use reputable service providers to run our systems (messaging, CRM, hosting, and payment processing). These providers process data on our instructions and may store it on servers outside Canada, where it is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We share only what each provider needs to perform its function.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. When a client leaves, their customer data is deleted from our active systems on request. The client's reviews remain on their own Google profile, which we never controlled in the first place.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting info@rocketfuelreviews.com. We'll respond within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
